  • Finally, again a smooth ride - AFRF

We lost our way in Viviers and went left too early. So we took the La Grange and Les Perriers. Much better then the "official" signposting leading you to the D86. Rural road almost no traffic. A short summary: If you're familiar with cycling and/or know how to share the road with cars and trucks then just do it. Marvelous scenery, excellent food, very polite people and drivers, what else do you need. We moved on to Orange, Avignon, Pont-du Gard, Arles, Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, Camargue and Nimes. There are cycle paths and greenways as well as small country roads. Best you browse the web and look for GPS tracks (e. g. on or look for maps or recommendations from the local tourist offcies.
