Confluence is the district where the Saône and Rhône rivers meet, with a surprisingly modern aesthetic very different from the more classical architecture of Old Lyon. Admire the futuristic monuments and stop for a visit in the Confluences Museum. Take advantage of your visit to the city of gastronomy and stop for lunch in one of the restaurants or bouchons of the Presqu'île. You'll then continue along the banks of the Rhône for a long ride up the entire Presqu'île to the magnificent Miribel-Jonage Park. Swim in the large Eaux Bleues Lake and explore the pleasant bike path and a wide choice of activities on land or in the water.

You'll continue your journey along the Rhône, and then cross the bridge to the Presqu'île to reach the banks of the Saône and the Old Lyon district. The imposing Saint-Jean Cathedral overlooks the quays, keeping watch over the city with its ten centuries of history. Explore the small streets, squares, and traboule passageways. You can find another bouchon for meal before climbing up to the basilica of Fourvière for an after-lunch walk. Admire the breathtaking view of Lyon from the stunning basilica, a symbol of the city.
