Starting from the medieval town of Crémieu and reaching the Arandon ponds, passing below the Larina archaeological site and through the Isle Crémieu plateau, you'll cycle along a route marked by the freshness of the river and the tranquility of its natural spaces. On your itinerary: ponds, sensitive natural areas, the painters' town, archaeological remains, and a visit to the Balme Caves. It's a full-day cycling trip for the more adventurous and a great weekend outing for a family ride!

Grand Tour of the Balcons du Dauphiné starting from ViaRhôna
A large loop to be done over the course of a day or a weekend. No particular difficulty, very low elevation gain (former railway track + ViaRhôna along the Rhône), and 100% of the route is on greenways or agricultural roads with very low traffic.
The loop includes a section of ViaRhôna, and the starting point of the loop can be reached from the route.

The loop is 100% marked in both directions, except for the junction between Crémieu and Saint-Romain-de-Jalionas, which is currently being marked.
