1695 Route de Sorgues 84230 Châteauneuf-du-Pape
This is the oldest distillery in Provence. Created in 1835, it specialised in making marcs aged in oak casks, Marc de Provence and Marc de Châteauneuf du Pape (Réserve des Légats and Gros Calan).

It became so famous that the great poet Frédéric Mistral dedicated some verses to it.
But most of all, its fortune was made by the Origan du Comtat, a liqueur that is used to make papaline chocolates. The distillery organises free tastings of its Provençal liqueurs: the Comtadine, the Elixir du Mont-Ventoux... as well as a very old Marc de Châteauneuf-du-Pape: the Réserve des Légats.
New creations have been added to the range, including caramel syrup with fleur de sel (as a topping or to mix with white rum or vodka), and lavender liqueur as an after-dinner liqueur, as a cocktail or in the summer on an apricot or melon sorbet.
Other products: Marra and Camarguais pastis, fruit eaux de vie (pear, raspberry, etc.) and the famous Pac lemon, Fun Blue and Couleur Provence syrups with a whole host of flavours (melon, kiwi, violet, etc.).
