Ideally located at the mouth of the Grand Rhone, between the river and the sea, Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, with its 8,624 inhabitants, is one of the three gateways to the wild Camargue.
This town ''at the end of the world” was not always orientated towards tourism: in fact, born at the beginning of the century around the port activity, it has over the years adapted to economic realities and changed its economic direction.
It now relies on its natural heritage and cultural identity to revitalise its territory, develop it and make every effort to preserve the quality of life.
A TOWN BETWEEN LAND AND SEA
Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône is in the Camargue, located between the Rhône and the Crau. White horses, bulls, flamingos and several hundreds of birds (mallards, coots, egrets, teal...) live there.

For 19 years, yachting and boating has boomed with quality infrastructure and two blue flags, which can accommodate seafarers from all countries.
The prime location, midway between Italy and Spain, and six floating docks, two dry docks, offers all services: construction, repair, maintenance, supplies, with a capacity of 4,400 boats of all sizes and two fishing ports.
In addition, since 2002 on the coast and including the Napoleon Beach (10 km of fine sand), the development of new board and water sports are assets to improve the town.
